What is Solar Drying?
Solar drying is a more advanced and controlled approach to food preservation. Instead of leaving the food in open sunlight, the products are dried inside a specially designed solar dryer.
At Dr. Renga’s Solar Delights, we use hybrid solar drying technology, which offers continuous and controlled drying throughout the day and night.
During the daytime, the temperature is carefully maintained between 45°C and 55°C, ensuring effective and uniform drying. During the night, the process continues with the support of a heat pump system, which optimally maintains the temperature between 30°C and 40°C.
This controlled environment prevents moisture regain, preserves the natural quality of the food, and ensures consistent drying.
